H Mr. Rosewater Will succeed the late H Representative Hill of Maine. Tho H seating of R. D. Howell, who was H elected national committeeman from H Nebraska, ,at the recent Republican primary In that state, was not taken up. H President Taft's manager practic- H ally had decided to invite Colonel H Roosevelt to attend the discussions of H tho Republican national committee H during tho consideration of contest IH cases so that ho may be assured of jH receiving fair treatment.
