Show MILFORD IN Thui sday, October 11, 1984 Page MOTION Weekend visitors at the home of Dennis and Bonnie Hardy were Rod and Judy (Raines) Ward and two children, Lisa and Brandon. While here Bonnie and her girls gave a baby shower in honor of Brandon. Judy's old classmates and friends .were the guests. Gary Banks and wife, Diane and two boys Bryan and Jeffery, came down to visit Gale and Lola Banks recently. They enjoyed going to the mountains for pine nuts. On Sunday they had a birthday dinner for Lola out at Shawna and AllenMay-er'- s. Norman and Madeline Davis and family met Madelines mom and dad and sister in Delta on Saturday. From Delta they went on up to Pelican Point on the Utah Lake and spent the day visiting with their Great Aunt, a very special lady, and other relatives they had not seen for a long time. Madelines mother, father and sister then came and spent the night in Milford and went back to Ely on Sunday. Kelley and Kimberly Rose celebrated their birthdays on Friday. Saturday afternoon Kimberly had a party and watched a movie with all her friends. And that evening, Kelley had her friends in for dinner and a movie. On Friday Heather Holm held a party for her friends and their Cabbage Patch kids. Heather, Jennifer Davis, Zibby Coon, Karensa Coon, LaRetta Pectol, Shan Holm, Kimberly Myers, Shellie Gray and other friends all met at Heathers and brought their Cabbage Patch kids. They all enjoyed playing games and having a fun slumber party. Call 387-26- 72 or 387-28- 81 Steve and Katherine Inman, Mabel Turner and Prudence Jensen just returned from an 18 day cross -country trip. They went through approximately 23 states and saw many, many wonderful sights. In Ohio, they went to an Amish Community, where the people do not believe in electricity, or any modern conveniences. They saw Nia-gFalls and the Atlantic Ocean. Went up in the CN Tower in Montreal and went on a lovely and very educational tour of Boston. They also went to Arlington Cemetery, saw the White House and went through Nashville, Tennessee. They had a great time, and Mabel reports that her favorite place was Vermont and New Hampshire with all the beautiful fall colors on full display. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Banks had their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wilbur and son, Cade, here for a visit this weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Wally Fothering-haspent a lovely day Sunday. They went for a ride up Parowan Canyon, Brian Head and Cedar Breaks to see all the beautiful trees in their fall colors. It was absolutely breathtaking, reported Mrs. Fotheringham . They then enjoyed a delicious dinner to celebrate their 36th Anniversary. Congratulations! Garol Lee Gay has enjoyed a visit from her sister Tina Lun-deand daughter from Provo. Mel and Sheila Prodzinski have had a busy couple of weeks. First their son Tony and his children were here for a visit. Then Mel and Sheila and Ken and Sonia Munk took their parents, Dave died July 18, 1983. Retired engineer for the UPRR. When they got back they went to Fernal, Utah for what Helene called a little R & R. And then down to Las Vegas to sit around a pool and soak up the sunshine. Kewn and Kaye Lynn Ogden and family went up to Salt Lake last weekend to go to the rncus. While there they did some shopping and visited with Kaye Lynns parents. Bud Whittaker retired from the Union Par lilt Rail Road on September 28 after 45 years of service. Mel and Irene Rollinson gave him a party at their home and invited all his help gi e lam a proper send olf.
