Bangerter, Republican candidate for governor of Utah will speak atiout the election issues October 18 at Southern Utah State College. The public is invited to attend the convocations lecture in the SUSC auditorium at 11:00 a.m. Part of the purpose of Banger-ter- s visit is to introduce SUSC students to the candidates and the issues just before the November election, according to Convocations Coordinator Lana Johnson. The Democratic candidate for governor, Wayne Owens, will be a guest the next week on October 25. Tom LeFever from Craig, Co. came in to attend the funeral of Roldo Turner last week. His son, David, was already here. Shirley and Frank Terry from Salt Lake and Jean Kanell were also here. They are LaRue's brothers and sisters. Also Margie Johnson and Doug and Elma Blackburn. Thayne and Wendy Marshall are the proud parents parents of a baby boy, born October 8 in the Beaver Hospital. Hayward and Edith Marshall and Janet and Brent Smith are the proud grandparents, This is the first grandson born to Hayward and Edith. Hilda Marshall is the great great grandmother and also Mr. and Mrs. Yardley from Beaver. Marshall and Millie were in Heber City on Monday to attend a funeral.
