Show DEATH CLAIMS LIFE OF BLAINE BERRY blaine the 12 year old son of mr and mrs cart berry ot helper formerly of moab died at helper friday following an extended illness the boy had been an invalid since infancy and for several years past had been fallig in health A few ago complications set in and he passed away early friday the body was brought back to the old home tor burial and funeral services were held sunday afternoon from the L D S chapel there was a large attendance of sorrowing friends from both moab and green river and a wealth of floral tributes W R mcconkle presided at the services the opening number was a hymn how gentle gods command by a double mixed quartet followed by the invocation by D A johnson A duet let the little children come was sung by two young girls marjorie ana maxine steele loras of frice was the first speaker his address being along scriptural lines A solo face to face was rendered by mrs mary gordon W R mcconkie was the concluding speaker both be and the previous speaker told of their long acquaintances with the bereaved family and offered words of comfort to them in their great sorrow abide with me was sung by the quartet followed by the benediction by C L christensen f A laige concourse of cars accompanied the remains to the cemetery where the choir sang god bo with you and the dedicatory prayer as offered by george A newell carl blaine berry was born at moab on march 16 1918 he resided at moab until about six years ago when he moved to green river with his parents recently the family moved to helper he Is by his par ants two sisters and norma and two brothers and arx blaine was a bright lovable boy whose happy cheerful nature had endeared himself to all who knew him the sincere sympathy of all goes out to the stricken family |
