They traveled by way of Denver, Colo, on to Great Bends, Kansas where they visited with friends and to Mississippi where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Days granddaughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Steele. They spent time in New Orleans, Louisiana and visited with friends in McLean,' Texas returning by way of New Mexico. Albuquerque, Among the highlights of their trip was a visit to Durrango, Colo. Mrs. Steele is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dee Day former Kaysville residents. Miss Corrie Rasband, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell B. Rasband, 400 Calif., and daughter Tori and two children also from California. Tori, her husband and children are moving east to make their home and wanted to fly to Kaysville and visit with her grandfather and uncle before making the move. While here they also visited with Mrs. Gillespie's uncle and aunt, Dr. and Mrs. D. Keith Barnes. They spent five days here before returning to their home in California. Miss Karen Hutchinson daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Hutchinson, 284 North 800 East, Kaysville has received an LDS mission call to serve in the Japan Nagoya Mission. She will enter the Mission Training Center in Provo on Oct. 25. She is a member of the Kaysville 17th LDS Ward. He will enter the Mission Training Center in Provo on Sept. 27. His farewell will be held Sept. 16 in the Kaysville 12th LDS rt Ward Chapel. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stuart visited in Pocatello, Ida. over the weekend with Mrs. Wilkie Barnes and at Preston, Ida. with Mr. and Mrs. Ferrin Bennett. They were also the dinner guests of Mrs. Margaret Bachman of Ogden last week. Mrs. Hanna Jarman spent a few days last week in Grants-vill- e with her sister, Mrs. Jane Brown. Mrs. Dorothy Swan flew to Omaha, Neb. where she visited a few days with her daughter, Mrs. Judy Gage and her family. Captain and Mrs. Lynn Beens and family of Spokane, Wash, have been visiting a month in Kaysville with both of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Van Flint and Mr. and Mrs. John Beens. Captain Beens stayed for two weeks and his wife and children remained two weeks longer. Mrs. Beens and the children left Wednesday to return home. While here Mr. and Mrs. Van Flint and Mrs. Beens and the children and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Flint and family spent a few days together at Bear Lake. Mr. Flint is a brother of Mrs. Beens. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Meacham attended their family reunion held at one of the Granger LDS Wards on Aug. 18. All their children and their families met for the special event with 44 family members attending. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Meacham of Kaysville were among the family members. Mark Gundelfinger is now at home convalescing after bging confined to the Hill AFB Hospital. He underwent surgery and treatment. Diane is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duckworth. Mrs. Fred Decker and four children, who have been visiting a week at the home of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. David Sanders have returned to their home in Taylor, Ariz. Mrs. Decker and the children also visited with her brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Lyman.
