Approximately fifty Alumni members and partners were in attendance at the banquet, which was presided over by the retiring mott. A combined UTE and Uintah Basin theme was suggestive in the elaborate table decorations, consisting of miniature ?lace.cards and cleverly designed nut cups representing Indian pottery. Center of attraction was the floral arrangement of red and white carnations, flanked on either side by a white U" and Indian Chief dolls. Numerous miniature Indian caricatures further added to the decorative theme. In charge of table decorations were Mrs. Fran Harrison and Mrs. Harvey Riggle. Other outgoing officers assisting with arrangements were Dr. Paul G. Stringham and James R. Hall. Each lady received a red carnation and each man a white carnation at the door. James improving after a hard fall during the recent .basketball game in Tabiona, causing a skull fracture. After spending a day in Duchesne under the care of Dr. J. The water content is 6.1 inches compared to a normal of 9.1 inches. The measurements this year are practically identical to the March 1, 1951 measurements. All indications point to a dry spell ahead for this section of the state. Gilbert R.
