They were honored at a family dinner on Saturday evening, Feb. 21, and at an open house on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 22, from 2 p.m. until 4 oclock, at the home of their son, Wal- lace J. Seeley, in Bluebell. Those joining in to help them celebarte their anniversary from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Movell Seeley, of Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Afton Seeley and two children, and Mr. and Mrs. Azel Seeley, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Olsen, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Latturner and Mrs. Sybil Jones, all of Price. Marion Carlos Seeley was born Oct. 23, 1881 in Mt. Pleasant. Utah, a son of Don Carlos and Hannah Elizabeth Reynolds Seeley. Laura Hansen Seeley was born at Moroni, Utah, a daughter of Joseph F. and Eknma Jane Stott Hansen. They were married Feb. 18, 1903 at Castle Dale, Utah. Mr. Seeley worked as a coal miner for the U, S. Fuel Co. at Sunnyside in the winter and in the timber in the summer. He has worked in the coal mines at Hiawatha, Morland, and Stores, now known as Spring Canyon. They are the parents of six children, five of whom are living. They are: Francis M. Seel-eSan Francisco, Calif ; Motell Seeley, Ogden; Wallace J. Seeley and Mrs. Norman Goodrich, (Betty Lou), of Bluebell, and Afton D. Seeley, of Salt Lake. They have 12 grandchildren and 5 Mr, and Mrs. Seeley have lived in Bluebell for the past 25 years, coming from Carbon County. Mrs. Seeley is the 2nd Counselor and work director in the Bluebell ward Relief Society. She has also worked in the Mutual as secretary and counselor in the Primary, and Is also very active in club work. She served as a leader for 3 years. Mr. Seeley is a farmer, 6heep man and stock raiser, and a very hard worker. Both enjoy very good health. A large crowd of friends and relatives gathered at the open house to congratulate the couple. l, 4-- a little more than a week ago. Other top buyers in the sale were Fred Dressier, of Nevada, who purchased another Mixer, Royal Mixer 38, at $4500.00; the Cochrane Ranch, at Cardston, Alberta, Canada was among the heaviest buyers at the sale and purchased the second top selling bull of the sale, PB Royal Model 1, at $4600.00, and along with him a group of selected females, herd sires and range bulls.
