Gospill enter- j tained The Ladies Social Club of the M. E. church on her spacioug lawn. Strings of electric lights among the trees added to the attractiveness of the scene. After games had been played the hostess, assisted by Miss Gladys Gospill and Mesdames Tom Gadberry and William Gardner, served a delicious chicken supper. About sixteen ladies were present. - Miss Myrtle Davidson of the U. S. A. C. Extension division was at the Club House on Tuesday afternoon in the interests of the girls 4-H club work. She detailed plans for the summer's work to the leader. Mrs. C. A. Rohn, and the assistant leader, Miss Rosabelle Jones. Mrs. Rue Xeilsen of Milford and County, Agent Lew Mar Price accompanied Miss Davidson. The severe electrical storm of Sunday Sun-day evening burned motors and traJLsf ormers at the Parley Fisher and J. G. Weber ranches and set fire to a line pole leading to the Community Com-munity Club house. The proposed dinner for the Mil-ford Mil-ford Firemen has again been postponed, post-poned, owing to the absence of too many members of that body. Mrs. Addison Bybee made a business busi-ness trip to Beaver on Tuesday. Mrs. Reuben Jones and her mother, Mrs. Connell, are visiting relatives in Parowan this week. i o |
