Powell to be honored at open house ' Maxine Van Wagoner Powell will celebrate her 80th birthday Saturday, Nov. 7, from 3 to 5 p.m .at an open house held in the Lehi 1st Ward, 120 W. 200 South. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. No gifts, please. Maxine was born to Albert and Anna Van Wagoner on Nov. 6, 1918 in Midway. She attended schools in Midway and Pleasant Grove. She graduated from Lehi High School. She married Keith Powell on Dec. 13, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last December. Maxine had six sons and two daughters: Gary, Antoine, Dar-re- l, Gordon, Max, Reed, Patricia (deceased) and Anna Codele.
