Show Mrs. R. L. Madsen was brought home Monday from a Salt Lake hospital, and is feeling improved in health. She was accompanied by her sister, Stella Hyde and Brooks Madsen. Mrs. Anthon W. ( Madsen also was with the party. She spent two days in Salt Lake this week, j R. L. Madsen has returned this week j from his flocks out west of Salt Lake. About 9.000 lambs have recently been shipped from this city by local growers for feeding at Ogden, Colorado and other points. The average weight of the lambs was 80 pounds, the average aver-age price paid, 10 and one half cents. Mt. Pleasant is all quiet today, as most of the men have gone to the hills trying to find a beauty with long horns. Following is the program for the October Parent-Teacners meeting to be held at the North Sanpete high school rvmnasium, Thursday evening October 25, Community singing, directed by W. H. Terry; vocal solo, Mrs. Thos. W. Jensen, reading, Mrs. F. J. Nielson; cornet selection, Ralph Jacobsen, solo, Marsden Allred, short talk on "Member ship," Mrs. Seymour Jensen, social hour, under direction of A. E. Darley and Miss Louise Frandsen. |
