Show COLLEGE AND HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES JOIN ARMY col william C webs webb U S army recruiting officer for the inter moun tian area announced that in the period from january 2nd and to 2 ath there were sixty young men from the states of idaho and utah enlisted in the infantry twenty five others are now at fort douglas awaiting final completion of their papers and enlistment f the colonel said that the infantry was obtaining young men of high type and of good education he hc po pointed anted out that of the sixty men enlisted four had attended college I 1 twenty one had completed high school and that the average education was tyro two years high school he further I 1 stated that most of these men were planning to continue their education 1 along the line of one of the vocational I 1 courses offered at the army post young men from this section should apply for enlistment at the army re cr office 23 ness building salt lake city utah |
