Show Dwer'a Opening. A large number of citizens gathered in front of Mr. James Dwyer's store last evening and when the doors were thrown open entered with a grant' rush, and his Btore was kept crowded until nearly 10 o'clock. His opening was a magnificent a flair and the various vari-ous articles on exhibition were so numerous and varied that to enumerate enumer-ate would be a bewildering task. Some of tbe most elegant boots, (embracing works of art, science, history his-tory and fiction), albums and work boxes, prettiest dolls and toys for holiday presents that have ever been imported to this city are there, and the great fault with the present premises is that they are not Urge enough for the proper dieplay of all the goods. It is quite a show, and well worth a visit to Bee. |
