Mr. and Mrs. Thad Wasden entertained at a farewell dinner Saturday evening, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Van Sorensen, who are moving to Riverton, Wyo. in the near future. The evening was spent playing bingo, with prizes being won by Lorraine Spencer, Anna Lee Andrews, Max Curtis and Preston Spencer, after which Mr. and Mrs. Sorensen were presented with a beautiful friendship quilt. Sunday evening services were under the direction of the High Council, with Niels P. Nielsen and Arthur Martin of Salina, as the speakers, and Owen Jensen of Redmond, rendered two solos. A Fireside Chat was held at the home of Mavis Taylor, Sunday evening, for the Senior Scouts and Junior Girls. Mr. and Mrs Charles Gurr and family of Sigurd, spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs Sylven Christensen.
