Show SCOTCH CRONIES PLAN CELEBRATION The Order of Scottish Cronies held an enthusiastic meeting last evening anil made the necessary preliminary arrangements for proper and fitting celebration of Robi-rt Burns' birthday birth-day on January 25, 1911 The coming entertaiium nt promises to surpass all previous efforts put forth by the Cronies In recent years, and a god time Is assured to all attending at-tending the festivities. The following committee- on arrangements ar-rangements was appointed: George Ixchhead. Sr., William Moves. Frank Carr, James Mac-Beth, Robert II. Moves, George Ronnie, Johnson II son. Angus MacPhle and T. S. Hutchinson. Hutch-inson. The committee will work on a pro-pram pro-pram of amusement and entertain-1 ment that will rival any celebration j of this sort previously given. A pro-i gram of entertaining features Including In-cluding readings and recitatlon3 from Burns will be rendered, with Highland High-land music and dances, featuring tho festivities. An open feast will 1.0 laid, with addresses and speech making by prominent members of the society. |
