Of ! course, the maij business was the election of officers, but this was not an excit ng business, as It meant only the reinstating of tlie old officers with few exceptions, so as to holdover still alter the next biennial, which yill likely be held in Salt Lake. In accordance with the recommendations recommenda-tions of the ' president, two new officers of-ficers were added to the list. In th? form of additional vice presidents. Mrs. A. J. Gorham of the P. E. O. and Mrs. Joseph Merrill of the Authors' club being elected lo the offces. These are really added for the express ex-press purpose o) maklriK preparations for Utah lo entertain the federation, which will mean a great deal of work for the executive officers. Mrs. Wynn L. Eddy of Ifebn- City and Mrs W. A. Willis of Brlgham City were the new directors. Aside from the election the niest interesting in-teresting part of todays program were the reports of the chairmen of standing committees, showing the real work accomplished by the federation through this avenue during the past year. Of the eleven committees represented, rep-resented, the reports from the health committee, the pure food and sanitation sanita-tion committee and toe industrial committee were the most Interesting. |
