Mrs. Josephine Bartlett Perry wife of Harold Perry, oi New York, known to the public as "Joi-cpbinH Bartlett," died at the Bop-tlst Bop-tlst hospital Thursday night from injuries in-juries received in 'an automobile accident ac-cident in New VotVa year ago last fpring. Mrs. Perry began a career on the static In 1SS3 In Chicago with Ihe Chicago Ideal Opera company. She has rung in many character Parts In Chicago, New York and Boston, and continued on the stage until the time of her accident. Mrs. Perry came to. Chicago six weeks ago to visit her sister, Mrs. 11. M. Quaekenbod and until two weeks ago it was thought that she was recovering, but at that j time she began to surfer from pains in her head and twelve days ago she j lapsed into nnconrciousness from which she did not recover. |
