Show Wednesday of last week, Bert Strong and Leo Crandall went by plane flown by Bill Devenish, on a business trip to Boise, Idaho and Jackson Hole, Wyo. Bill Devenish of this city made a flight to Los Angeles over the week end taking passengers Dick Richards of Provo, also his mother, Mrs. C. W. Richards and sister Jerry of Salt Lake City and Miss Donna Joe Chase of Orem. Lionel Averptt, his son, Vern and grandsons, Verl Burt and Don Burt, were guests of Fred Averett at his ranch in Hobble Creek canyon, can-yon, coming from Salt Lake City to scout around for a deer hunting area. Mr. and Mrs. Averett were also guests at the wedding reception recep-tion for Mr. and Mrs. Dean Averett Aver-ett held in Provo October 3 . Mrs. Elizabeth Harder, 90-year-old aunt c-f Charles (Chuck) Merrill Mer-rill of Springville, has returned to her home in Ottawa, Kan., after a two months visit with the Merrills Mer-rills in Springville. She had been visiting relatives and friends in Idaho. Mrs. Harder was especially interested in the mountains in this" vicinity. Mrs. Harder returned to her home by plane, it being her first plane ride. Friends here have received word that Mrs. Agnes Eismann of San Francisco, Calif.,- a former resident resi-dent of Springville, will be here some time this month to visit friends and acquaintenances. Mrs. Carma H. Frandsen and little son Bobby of Seattle, Wash., are visiting at the home of Mrs. Frandsen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Hopla at Mapleton and other relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Mac V. Pace (Nanalee Reynolds) . are making their home at Brawley, Calif., Mrs. Pace recently joined her husband hus-band there following an extended visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Reynolds in Springville. |
