Show PLAN BIG CELEBRATION. Kavsvllle. July 21. Pioneer da", will be observed In Kavsvllle and all who were In Utah prior to the spring of 1858 will be honored as pioneers That date was fixed because It was the time of what Is known as the move," when the settlements north of Salt Lake City were deserted and the inhabitants went south to Utah coun ty while Johnson s army marche J through and encamped In Cedar valley, val-ley, west of Lehl The committees have announced a list of about 100 pioneers under the above designation. These will meet at in 30 a. m. and a procession will be formed, headed by pioneer equipages equipa-ges and followed by modern vehicles and automobiles carrying the honored guests. The streets set apart for the procession will be lined with chll dren, each bearing a flag and a bow quet of flowers At the opera house a program will be given at 11 a. m., at which Hon Charles R Mabey will be orator of the day William Holme will sing and Miss Myrtle Burton will recite The Kavsvllle choir and band will furnish selections, and Professor and Mrs E David Maun of Woods Cross will appear in violin and piano selections The committee of sports will have charge of the afternoon events, and horse races, motorcycle races, fire department de-partment competitions and baseball Will occupy the time |
