Her elbow-length bridal veil of illusion was caught to af crown of pearls and she carried a large white orchid surrounded with grape clusters and feathered white carnations. Attending the bride was her sister, Deanna B. Pack, as matron ma-tron of honor and Renae Beck, a sister; Elsa Watklns, Jerri Ryan, Carolyn and Lynda Walker, Walk-er, sisters of the groom as bridesmaids. Each wore astreet length dress of lavendar crystalline crystal-line with bell sleeves of white bonded lace. They carried nosey gays of white carnations and! lavendar clusters of grapes. The mother of the bride wore a pink embroidered taffeta dress while Mrs. Walker, mother of the groom, chose a pink bonded lace creation. They wore matching corsages of white carnations with lavendar ribbons. Performing the duties of best man was Kenneth Walker, brother of the groom. Ushers were Rossi Beck, Jay HealeyandMark Walker. Walk-er. Decor throughout the entertaining enter-taining area was carried out in white and lavendar. The bridal party stood before a glimmering draped backdrop with white pillars pil-lars on either side of a large mirror on which stood large baskets of lavendar glads and white carnations. The red carpet car-pet which led the greeters to the bride and groom was flanked on either side by shorter white pillars pil-lars with swags of white and lavendar lav-endar ribbons and large Jars of greenery. The beautiful five-tiered wed-: ding cake was trimmed with white; roses, green leaves and lavendar grape clusters. In charge of the serving was Mrs. Reah Carlton, Leona Pack, Joylene Beck, Clista Beck, Kaye Chamberlain, Gaye Carlton, Deri Beck and Yvonne Carlton. Arranging Ar-ranging the gifts were Cleo Shepherd, Shep-herd, LaRene Drew, Joanne Beck, Sandra Walker and at the guest book was Kathleen Brown. Young has been appointed the acting dean of stu dents at North Dakota State Uni versity. : Young's appointment was announced an-nounced by President H. R. Al-brecht Al-brecht followbg approval by the State Board of Higher Education Educa-tion meeting In Bismarck recently. re-cently. , The new acting dean takes over the post from Dr. Daniel R. Dr. Young took over the post July 1. He had been director of the NDSU Counseling Center. Young Joined the NDSU faculty last summer. He holds a PH.D. from the Pennsylvania State University, Uni-versity, abachelor's degree from the University of Utah, and a masters mas-ters degree m personnel administration admin-istration from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. Before coming to NDSU, Young had worked as a counselor-coordinator at Penn State. A son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Young, Dave grew up and was graduated from high school at American Fork, Utah. Dr. Young and his wife, Elaine, have twin daughters.
