Llewellyn Our loving wife, sister-in-law and aunt, Jennie Brown Llewellyn, age 82, died at home on November 9, 1996 after a valiant and courageous fight against cancer. Jennie was the third daughter and last child born to Theada Estella Jordan and William W. Brown, February 2, 1914 in Springville, Utah. She was educated in Springville City schools. She married James LaMar Anderson, April 16, 1937. They made their home in Bel Garden, Gar-den, California where LaMar worked for Western West-ern Pipe Company and Jennie was employed by Eastern Hardware Company. Com-pany. They later moved to Springville. LaMar drowned in a fishing accident July 16, 1961. Jennie later married Ray Llewellyn, August 8, 1964 in Ely, Nevada and they made their home in Springville. She enjoyed being a homemaker and gardening. garden-ing. She liked to travel, fish, hunt and she loved music. Jennie enjoyed life and was always happy and smiling. She had a beautiful appearance appear-ance and countenance at all times. She was a member of the LDS Church. She is survived by her loving husband, Ray, and thanks him for his loving and tender care; sister-in-laws; brother-in-laws;; and many nieces, nephews and good friends. Thanks to Dr.' Robert Day and all the nurses from IHC, especially espe-cially Nada, Carol and Leah. Five brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Anatole France Waldo Williams Jackson, 78, died Wednesday, Wed-nesday, November 6, 1996 from injuries sustained sus-tained in an automobile accident in Fort Collins, Colorado. He was born on March 23, 1918 to Thomas C. and Esther Williams Jackson in Fountain Green, Utah. He married Elaine Cran-dall Cran-dall on February 25, 1944 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Waldo graduated from Provo High School. He enjoyed ranching and livestock. He owned retail stores in Payson and Springville, and for 40 years, he operated a family business in the wholesale clothing indus try in the Rocky Mountain Moun-tain region. He is survived by his wife, Elaine f Crandall Jackson; children: Stephen Ste-phen Waldo (Judy) Jackson, Jack-son, Provo; Jerry Lynn (Jan) Jackson, Mapleton; one sister, Leona Brandt; grandchildren: Gina (Steve) Pitts, Tyler Jackson (Columbus Ohio Mission), Christopher, Meagan, Rachelle, Tiffany Tiffa-ny and Jeffrey Jackson. Funeral services were held Monday, November 11, at 11 a.m. in the LDS Chapel on 850 S. 400 East, Springville. Burial was in the Springville Evergreen Ever-green Cemetery. November 13. 1996 - The Springville Herald - Page Thirteen Basketball camp set Red Devil Camp will be held Tuesday through Thursday, November No-vember 19, 20 and 21 in the Springville High School Main Gym for grades 5-8. The registration regis-tration fee will be $15 which includes a camp t-shirt and certificate certif-icate for each participant. Bring the $15 on the first night of the camp. Camp will be conducted by Coach Smith, SHS Basketball Coach and his staff at the following follow-ing times: grades 5-6, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and grades 7 and 8, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Waldo Williams Jackson Ted Williams, Boston Bos-ton Red Sox outfielder, won six batting titles and was the last major leaguer leagu-er to hit over 400. Dancing Friends If you like to dance, you are invited to join Dancing Friends on Friday, November 15. Dress western and come for dance instruction at 7:45 p.m. with Alma Heaton as the instructor. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door costing $5 per person or $25 per family. All proceeds from the dinner will be used to fund the DARE program.
