Hempstead leaves today for Soda Springs. Col. and Mrs. Holmes and Miss Grace Emery will spend the winter in Europe. Mrs. J. A. Reeves entertained Wednesday afternoon. after-noon. Dr. and Mrs. T. B. Beatty will go to the Sound country in a few days. Dr. Rykert has gone to British Columbia on milling mi-lling business. Mrs. Martha Royle King will open a studio in August. Miss Irene Dickson has returned to San Francisco. Fran-cisco. Mrs. W. F. Beer and children are at Brighton. Mr. Sidney K. Hooper is at Colorado Springs. Mr. Edward J. Bennett, formerly of this city, has resigned his position in San Francisco, and will be here the first week in August to remain permanently.
