Show Branch College Cindermen Begin Training Hoping to iull a repeat performance per-formance again this spring, track and field men of the Branch Agricultural college began working work-ing out this wepk in the hopes of winning their fifth straight InlwTBountain conference championship cham-pionship and adding another trophy to the already large collect col-lect tun. Coach Murray Maughan began issuing equipment this week as 33 men reported for practice, including in-cluding 12 lettermen. Lettermen from iast year's squad, which had an outstanding season, will Lave plenty of help from a large Croup of promising high school trackmen and others coming out fur this sport for the first time. The Broncos will participate In three meets this season, c-ctrding c-ctrding to Coach Maughan. The first one will be the invitational invitation-al meet at Dixie Junior college in April, followed by another invitational in-vitational meet at B. Y. U. in May. The BAC cindermen will also compete In the ICAC meet at Westminster in May. In addition, addi-tion, a dual meet with Phoenix junior college may be held here in Cedar City on May 5. Returning lettermen include: Caylen Brown, Blain Benson and Edward Southwlck, all of Cedar City; Murray Edwards and Le-Hey Le-Hey McAllister, Delta; Mickey Lindsay and Douglas McShane, Reaver; Gareth Spencer, Kanab; Arthur Daly, Richfield; Robert Lambert, Fillmore, and Dixie Leavltt, Bunkerville, Nevada. New men out to make the team this year are: William Feldt, Oreste Lombardl and Don-rid Don-rid Applegate, Cedar City; Rob-en Rob-en Sterling, Thel Gibson and Jack Henderson, Hurricane; Don Bcutler. Boyd Card, Faul Ricken- bach and Del Rav Hatch, all of Richfield; Newell Warr and Phil GMlis, Beaver; Kent Myers.
