Show Dealer Announces Tubeless Tires Are Now Available Simultaneously with the disclosure dis-closure today that the new tube-less tube-less tire of the B. F. Goodrich Company is now available .to motorists here for the first time, Floyd Eyman, the company's agent in this area announced that Goodrich dealers are ready to sell them immediately. Anticipating a heavy demand foi the puncture-sealing tubeless tire, Mr. Eyman said that he has been instructing servicemen here on how to mount and demount thorn. He emphasized that since there is no tube to be snagged or pierced by a tire iron, the new tire is actually easier to put on and take off than the ordinary ones. "Furthermore", he declared, de-clared, "there shouldn't be many occasions for taking the tires off for a long, long time. There is no tube hazard. The tire automatically auto-matically seals itself both when it is punctured and when you remove re-move the nail, spike, or whatever what-ever it may be. And it retains air easily 10 times longer than a regular tire with a prewar rubber tube." Mr. Eyman revealed that the new item has been in stock for some time in anticipation of the B. F. Goodrich announcement. A truly one-piece tire such as this has been a goal of tire engineers engi-neers ever since the beginning of the automobile era, said Mr. Ey-man. |
