Show CATTLEMEN ORGANIZE. The meeting called by the officers of the Manti Forest Reserve, for the purpose of forming a cattle-me cattle-me i's association, was held Friday evening b the City Hall. An association asso-ciation of the local cattlemen was organized for what is known as Five A, and the following officers elected co serve for the ensuing year: S E. Jensen, president; George Petei son, vice-president; L. C. Ras-mussen, Ras-mussen, secretary and treasurer. Advisory board,- Joseph Johnson, Joseph Johansen, jr., Charles Trus-cott, Trus-cott, Andrew Nielsen, (Tanner.) By-laws and a constitution had been prepared and were read and adopted. It was decided to make the membarship fee one dollar. An assessment of ten cents per head for cattle belongingto the organizati on was levierl, for salting and other necessary expenses. All cattlemen are requested to join that they may be recognized by the Forestry depart de-part ment. |
