Jolene Griffiths Receives Award GrifJolene Dun-an- t fiths, former American Fork resident, has been named Young Career Woman by the Morgan County Business and Professional Women's Clubs. She will represent the Morgan BPW Club in regional competition. Judging was based on the candidate's achievements career and ability to project an image reflecting the role of today's young women in society. The Young Career Woman Program was by the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc., in 1963, to highlight the achievements of young women. Jolene is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Durrant of American Fork. She is married to Jerry Griffiths, a teacher at Morgan Elementary School. She is currently teaching at Morgan Elementary School and is a reporter for the Morgan County News. A graduate of Utah State University, she graduated from American Fork High School with high honors. She was a studentbody officer, Girl's State Representative, debate winner and a speaker at graduation. In college, she belonged to Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Mortar Board, and received the Utah State University's Faculty Women's League Scholarship for the highest grade point average of a graduating senior (4.0).
