Show BUSY WEEK FOR .. Hp CLINIC BEGIN EXAMINATIONS MONDAY AND CONTINUED DURING ENTIRE EN-TIRE WEEK. SCORES OF CHILD- REN AND PARENTS REGISTER: Tho Utah Public Health traveling clinic has been in Cedar this week and has dono remarkable work, examining scores of children nnd a great many grown people. ' Nothing that has come to Cedar in tho past has created so much interest among parents as the clinic, and nearly near-ly ovory parent in tho town has taken the children to be examined by tho expert personal of the party, who are: Ur. U. r. Knight, Ur. w. A. Colton, Dr. J. F. Worley and Dr. Viola Russell, of tho U. S. Public Health Service; M. S. Parker, educational educa-tional director; Miss Emma L. Browne Miss Irene Nunnelley and Miss Lucy Tooth, nurses, Utah Public Health Association. Tho clinic arrived Sunday afternoon after-noon and opened for business Monday at the public school building where the people called constantly during tho entire week, keeping every member mem-ber of tho clinic busy. Special evening meetings were held in Cedar Monday evening, Enoch Tuesday Tues-day evening, and one in Knnarra Thursday evening. Each was well attended and those who wero present wero told much that will bo of benefit bene-fit to them if followed strictly. Tho work of tho clinic has been thorough. Everyday this week parents par-ents and children have waited patiently patient-ly their turn for examination. No child under 10 years of oge was examined ex-amined unless accompanied by a parent. par-ent. No operations were performed, simply examinations, but operations wero recommended where necessary. Tho expenses of tho qlinic arc being met by funds received through the activities of the Utah Public Health Association in the "sale of Christmas seals. It receives money from no other source. |
