Obituaries Becky Meade, daughter of Joan and John Meade, reported on her mission to Arizona, Mesa, in the Ephraim 3rd Ward on Sun- Lillian Day day, May 16. Followingthe meeting, a dinner for family and friends was held at the Meade home. Special guests included Lambertsen Lillian Day Lambertsen, 86, passed away May 14, 1993 in Payson, Utah. She was bom in Fillmore,' Utah, July 29, 1906 to Arthur' and Elizabeth Jane Rowley Day. 1 Shand Tenny Francis and Denise Shand of Manta are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Kim to Richard Tenney, son of Reginald and Yevet Tenney and the late Mary Blair Tenney, on Friday, June 4, 1993 in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Manti Tabernacle. All of their friends and family are invited to attend. Kim is a graduate of Manti High School and Snow College. She served as a full time missionary in the Ohio Columbus Mission. Richard is a graduate ofTay-lo- r High School, Taylor, Arizona. He also serve an LDS mission to Columbus, Ohio and is currently employed with Beismeyer Manufacturing, Mesa, Arizona. The couple will make their home in Mesa, Arizona, where Richard attends school at Mesa Community College. Kim will attend Arizona State University in the fall. Manti Seminary schedules graduation exercises' ,i Manti Seminary graduation will be held Sunday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Manti Tabernacle. All family members and friends are invited to attend. There win be an early morning testimony meeting at the Seminary Building on Monday, May 24 at 6 a.m. Breakfast will be served by the Stake Presidencies at 7 a.m. at the Manti Tabernacle. There will be a reception in the cultural hall for seminary graduates, family and friends after the exercises. Her posterity includes eight children, 45 grandchildren, 114 greatgrandchildren and seven great-- Lillian Day Lambertsen great-grandchildre-n. Her main interests were her family. She was an extensive homemaker, and enjoyed was extensive genealogical search. re- Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 18 in the Centerfield LDS Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Fillmore City Cemetery. Elaine Huish Tuttle, 7 0, died suddenly May 15, 1993 in Monticello, Utah She was bora November 10, 1922 in Provo, a daughter of Albert and Rena Choules Huish. She married Ray N. Tuttle June 18, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Elaine was a noted seamstress and enjoyed making beautiful tricot sheets and nightgowns and crocheting afghans which were sold throughout the state. Grace Hawks has been in the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center for surgery. She plans to come home to Ephraim to Survivors include her husband, Ray N. Tuttle of Ephraim; three daughters and one son: Jorene Watson, Las Vegas, Nev.; Janet Warner, MonticellojConnie Dow, Tooele; and Albert Ray Turrle, Salford, Ariz.; 20 grandchildren, three Logan, Raymond and Gaye Baker and family of Cedar City, DeLoy and Kerin Baker of Lewiston, Delbert and Patty Schaffer, Heidi, Shane, and Austin Argyle and Michael Schuller, all of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Greenwood of Richfield and Jason Baker of Logan. great-grandchildre- n. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 19 in the SpanWard Chapel.' ish Fork 2nd-9t- h A daughter, Louise Jensen, was in charge of the reunion. Her two sons and their wives, Max and Janis Jensen of Moab, and Brent and Mary Jensen ofWest Valley City helped with the de- tails. The families enjoyed visiting, barbecued turkey dinner, show and tell time with special familyitems being shared, araffle and the distribution of a booklet on the lives of Andrew activi, and Katie were part of the 22-pa- ge ties. Also on display was a replica of the old homestead of Andrew and Katie, as it was when their nine children were growing up. Roland Olsen ofEphraim crafted this to scale. The last activity of the reunion was a tour of locations, such as the family home, now owned by Joe and Sandra Breinholt, and the cemeteries were family members have been buried. SENIOR CITIZEN NEWS A son of Barry and Tamara Baker, Jeremy, gave his homecoming address in the Ephraim 2nd Ward on Sunday, May 16. Jeremy returned from the Germany, Hamburg mission. Many friends and family members came to the Baker home for a special family dinner afterward. Those attending were grandparents Harold and Melba Baker of Elaine Tuttle On Saturday, May 15, a successful family reunion was held at the Ephraim City Park for the descendants of James Andrew and Katie Christensen Olsen. Over 100 family members were Thursday, May 20 will be the monthly dinner at 6:30 p.m. at the Center. Suggested donation is $3.00. Please bring your own dishes.
