De Milos Leave Thursday For Grand Junction Pleasant Grove's popular De Milos drill team has been practicing prac-ticing daily in preparation for a busy 1959 season. Carrying on an activity started several years ago, Mrs.. Wayne (Janette) Mott continues in directing the girls in a program of snappy marching routines. The De Milos leave this morning, morn-ing, Thursday, June 11, for Grand Junction, Colorado. While there they will appear in the Gordon McRae variety show, Friday, and in the circus on Saturday. The girls will also march in the parade pa-rade on Saturday. The party, which includes 25 girls, Mr. and Mrs. Mott, and two chaperons, expact to return from the Colorado trip on Sunday. The next public appearance of the D? Milos will be at the Strawberry Straw-berry Days parades on June IS. Other engagements include celebrations cele-brations at Provo, Midvale, Salt Lake City and American Fork. |
