irrigating lands within the state owned by such individuals individuals individuals or corporations or the Individual individual in individual in- in members thereof shall not be separately taxed as long longas as they ther shall be owned and used exclusively for such purposes Power plants power transmission mOn sion lines and other property used for forr generating and delivering delivering delivering ering electrical 1 power ower a portion of ot which is used for furnishing power pumping water for Irrigation gation purposes on lands in the State of ot Utah may mav be exempted from taxation to the extent that such property is used for such purposes These v shall accrue to the benefit of the users of water so pumped under such regulations as as the legislature may prescribe The taxes of the indigent poor maybe mav may be remitted or abated at nt such times and in such m manner ns as may mav be provided by law The legislature may provide for the exemption from taxation of homes bomes homesteads and person person- I al al property not to exceed 2000 in va value ue for lor homes and homesteads and all nil household furnishings furniture a and n d equipment used exclusively by the owner thereof at his place of abode in maintaining a homo home for lor himself and family Property Proper Proper- ty tv not to exceed in value owned by disabled persons who served in any war in the military mili tary tart service of the United States Statu or of the State of Utah and by the unmarried widows and minor orphans of such disabled disabled dis dis- persons persona or of ot who while serving in the military service ice of the United States or orthe orthe orthe the State Stale of Utah were killed in action or died a as a result of such service may be exempted as the legislature may provide The legislature shall provide by law for an annual tax sufficient clent ent with other sources of revenue revenue rev rev- to to defray the estimated ordinary expenses of the s
