Show Wednesday, May IS, 1374 -C- OALITION A MAJORITY OF ONE Page 3A Informative Ski Team Discussion it won't come as much of a surprise to you folks that ol' P.C. has decided to retire from the news biz. The way I figure it, nothin' short of an atomic bomb is gonna get Park City off its behind and start workin' together instead of continually fightin' with each other. Seems like everybody's got a gripe. And while they're sure enough entitled to 'em, it might be better for the town if everybody'd lay down their personal gripes and work for the betterment of the town as a unit. Now I realize that some folks think that the resort is tryin' to railroad 'em. That smacks of paranoia. If those folks who do think that way would try to work with the resort instead of against it, it could be that everybody involved would be a mite better off. This little town's got a lot goin' for it, but as things are goin' now, it ain't ever gonna get to be much. And I know that there are folks that's like to have things stay the way they were, or at least the way they are. But drat it, they can't. That's all there is to it. to point out I've tried over the past few weeks some of the things I've seen. But I can tell now that I ain't never gonna have any effect on the way things work around here. So I'm givin' up the ghost, as we used to say. A body can beat his head against a brick wall Well only so long. When it starts hurtin' too bad, it's time to look around. And what I see is pettiness and paranoia. I'm right appreciative of the Coalition to give me a chance to say my piece, but I can't for the life of me see how anything I say is gonna change anything. So I'm gonna retire. When my friend builds his shootin' gallery. I'll mosey on back and shoot the rats. That's about all there's gonna be left. P.C. Sinic LIGHT mB7M& Mark Simmons, Phil Klingsmith, and Buddy Waldman.
