Present for the occasion were Mrs. Bollis parents Mr. and Mrs. Howard Minnig, Torrance, California; cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Leib, Kearns and a niece, Stacy Van Blankenstein. The group enjoyed a barbecued turkey dinner later in the afternoon. Kelly Jean Mendenhall, daughter of Russell and Terrie Mendenhall, was given her name and blessing by her father during sacrament services in the Ephraim Second Ward Sunday. Here to join the family for the happy occasion were Russells parents, John and Iona Orem, a Mendenhall, niece, Loma Mendenhall and friend, Ann, of Provo. Mrs. Gerald (Joan) Naylor was sustained as new president of the Ephraim Second Ward Relief Society during sacrament services Sunday. Chosen to serve as counselors with Mrs. Naylor are Mrs. Gyde (Genean) Blauer and Mrs. Steven (Kathy) Peterson. Mrs. Joseph (Sandra) Breinholt was sustained as secretary. Mrs. Leslie (Eleanor) Madsen was released as president after serving over three years in that capacity. Mrs. Eugene (Charlotte) Moulton and Mrs. Spencer (Lucile) Olsen served as counselors. Mrs. Leon (Delila) Olsen was secretary and Mrs. Ralph (Delosta) Poulson was treasurer. ; - Visitors at the home of Alma and Nell Toone this week are a brother and his wife, Ward and Gwen Ray of Mesa, Arizona. Robert Rasmuson is in the Utah Valley Hospital undergoing tests, follow- ing a stroke, which he suffered on Sunday. His wife, Ruth and daughter Amy, have been in Provo most of the time since Bob was stricken. Blaine raim, . Moore, seems Eph- to be recovering well following a serious accident last weekend near Mt. Baldy. Blaine, who spends his summers working for the Forest Service, received a bad cut on his hands and bruises on his chest and arms as his car rolled. He was able to get free from the car and walked 3'i miles down the mountain where he was brought to Ephraim to get needed medical attention. Fork, a sister, Cindy and Charles Huff of Salt Lake City were in attendance. Three days of family visiting marked the birth- day anniversary ot Delora Daniels which was on July 3rd. All but one of her nine children were able to come and extend their best wishes Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Saturday part of the group went into Ephraim canyons to enjoy a picnic and the beauty of the mountains. Three lovely birthday cakes were brought by Ethel Nielson, John and Alfred Daniels families., Family members who came were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Daniels, Heber, their son David and his wife, Kim, Logan; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Daniels and son, Steven, Heber; LuDeen Jones, Price; Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Daniels, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Daniels, their two married daughters, Sally and Debbie and Sallys two children, Mr. and Mrs. John Daniels, daughters April and Melissa, son Blake and a Eva friend, Ephraim; Price, Logan; Mrs. Vergie Bjerregaard, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Daniels and daughters Angie and Jennifer, Vernal; their daughter Julie and husband Olsen, Gary Ephraim and Mrs. Max (Ethel) Nielson, Manti.
