GROCERY four children crash in Ephraim A mother and her four children were injured Sunday morning at about 5:45 when she fell asleep at the wheel of her 1981 compact car and the vehicle struck an abutment outside Christiansens Furniture on Main Street in Ephraim. Somporn Hunt, 37, of North Carolina, driver of the vehicle, was transported to the Sanpete Valley Hospital with lacerations of the face caused by impact with the windshield and with extensive lacerations of both knees. Mrs. Hunt's daughters, Thoy, Tina, Shirley and Jeannette, were transported with less serious injuries. Later the same day Mrs. Hunt was transferred to Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City. The impact with the cement abutment did extensive damage to Mrs. Hunt's car, which was estimated to have been totalled in the collision. Prices Effective July 9, 10, 11 |
