Show COUNTY 4-H GROUPS ' RECEIVE AWARDS 169 4-H club members and 4-H leaders wore given awards at 4-H club achievement programs pro-grams in Beaver County in November. No-vember. Award programs were held in Beaver, Minersville and Milford. Glen Baird, state 4-H . club hader 'from the U S A C, was ab'e to attend and speak at the programs at Milford and Minersville. Min-ersville. Awards were furnished by the Utah Bankers Association, of which the two county banks are members. The programs were planned by the Beaver County 4-H leader lead-er advisory council, consisting of Mrs. Reva Albrecht, chairman; chair-man; Mrs. Frieda Wood, secretary, secre-tary, both of Minersville; Mrs. Dora Walker and Mrs. Berniece Smith, Milford; Mrs. Mable Smith and Cliff Yardley, Beaver. Beav-er. Georgia Beth Smith conducted conduct-ed the meeting at Milford and Mrs. Aldene Jones conducted the program at Minersville. County Agent Grant Esplin presented the awards. County medals were presented present-ed - the following for being county winners in national contests con-tests entered: Achievement Jennie Sue Smith, Nina Rue Yardley, Nancy Nan-cy Yardley, and Georgia Beth Smith. The Beaver County Cut-Ups recreation club won a certificate certifi-cate and $20 for being one of the state winners in the recreation recrea-tion and rural arts contest. Clubs led by the following leaders received seals for having hav-ing 100 completion in their clubs: Milford Bernice Smith, Georgia Beth Smith, Lois Moore and Margaret Lund, LaRue Banks and Mildred Wilcock, Dora Walker, Jennie Sue Smith. Minersville Frieda Wood, Phyllis Truman, Reva Albrecht and Aldene Jones.
