Elder Gordon B. Hinkley of the LDS Church's Council of the Twelve and BYU President Dallin H. Oaks will be featured speakers at the 1:30 p.m. ceremonies at the Media Production Studios near the Provo River. Special gueats, past and present employees, and cast members involved in-volved with films at the studios have been invited to attend the ceremonies. According to Ruth West director of the Crisis Line Training Program, the meeting is "for people interested in working on the Crisis Line as a volunteer." She said each applicant will be considered, con-sidered, but must commit ILSsiAMAi themselves to completing a six-week training program, and to working for the line for three months before they are officially on as line workers. After training which involves professional guidance to communication com-munication skills, suicide prevention, listening ear, rape intervention, and crisis calls, the volunteers volun-teers are asked to sign up use. |
