Show LASKY PEOPLE PREPARING FOR $1,000,000 FILM Thomas B. White, production manager of the Famous Players Lasky corporation, accom- panied by a corps of assistants, is here at the Atkin Hotel, mak ing arrangements, purchasing ? materials and supplies, and em- ploying men and teams for the big picture, "The Covered Wa- gon" which is to be staged on a portion of the Utah-Neveda and Livestock company's prop- ertics, just this side of Garri- son. Monday, Mr. Elam Foutz. worl-;i:.-g under Mr. White's instructions, began be-gan signing up for teams, both two and four horses, with drivers to take part in the pictrue. Wagons must have top boxes with bows and canvas can-vas covers and have a big plow as part o fthe equipment. The drivers must have whiskers, and the homelier home-lier the better. Mr. Otto Meeks, who is president and manager of the ranch, has procured pro-cured the use of Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake, for the filming of the buffalo hunt, which is to be ued in the picture. ' Mr White says the filming of the hunt will begin October 9 and occupy oc-cupy about six days. One feature of the hunt will be the stunt performed' perform-ed' by "Doc" Henderson, of the Og-den Og-den wild west show, who will leap from a horse to the back of a buffalo buf-falo and kill it with a knife. The filming of the picture will begin be-gin October 15. James Cruze, formerly for-merly of Ogden, will direct the picture. pic-ture. His old schoolmate, Charles I..
