Mr. Washburn has a rich background of experience to qualify him as a Legislative Candidate. He is a retired English teacher, teach-er, having taught in several high schools and Carbon Junior College. He has served as president pres-ident of the Utah Association of Journalism directors, was former for-mer editor of the Lehi Sun, and the Centennial Instructor, he has authored several books and a well known lecturer.
