Show Mr. Washburn has a rich background of experience to qualify him as a Legislative Candidate. He is a retired English teacher, teach-er, having taught in several high schools and Carbon Junior College. He has served as president pres-ident of the Utah Association of Journalism directors, was former for-mer editor of the Lehi Sun, and the Centennial Instructor, he has authored several books and a well known lecturer. Washburn Asks Questions During Campaign J.. N. Washburn, Republican Candidate for the Utah House of Representatives is asking a lot of questions during his campaign. He is asking: "Are you concerned con-cerned about The shooting of policemen? Inflation and rising ris-ing costs? Rampant lawlessness? lawless-ness? The great giceaways? The war in Vietnam, etc. Mr. Washburn is concerned and he states that "The Democrats Demo-crats have been in power 28 of the past 38 years. We are now reaping the harvest they have sown."
