It is needed, and at the present time we have applied for S180.000. the through Mountainland Association of Government from HUD for a grant to renovate the building. Shortly after 1 became commissioner, the other two commissioners and I made an Inspection of the Memorial Building. It was in deplorable condition. Windows were broken out, hot water running out of most of the taps, the Boors were very dirty snd paint wu very badly needirt. Last year, S35.000 waa spent on the Memorial Building for repairs, maintenance and upkeep. There has been appropriated S22.000 for the Walker Bank.
