Their travels took them to Virginia City, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Los Angeles. They visited with Teds brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Tern Johnson Jn Placentia and with another brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Vic Johnson in Anaheim. ' She was born May 29, 1886, in Nephi, a daughter of George and Emma Hague Hickman. She married Edward G. Sutherland in Eureka November 13, 1913. He died in March of 1954. She attended the University of Nevada, University of ' Utah and was a member of the Ladies Trainmen Association of Salt Lake City. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Donald A. (Ruth) Robison Salt Lake City; two grandchildren, five great grandchildren. Graveside services were con ducted Wednesday morning at Mountain View Cemetery, Reno, Nevada. It was the longest outage ex- perienced in Tintic for many years. Housewives began to wonder about arousing the man of the house to get to work on time, or just how to prepare breakfast, so all were relieved when the power was turned on and didnt mind getting up as soon as the lights came on to start refrigerators or freezers. ' Very little, if any, food loss . was reported. Some inconvenience was experienced by the eating houses in town and all realized how very much we all depend on electricity.
