Show WASHINGTON , SCHOOL NOTES. By Mina Beauregard. Superintendent Reese visited the various departments on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. Mr. Reese was delighted with the work generally gener-ally and showed a, decided interest in the fact that the "Washington will turn out so large a graduating class this year. Quarterly examinations were held in the several departments this week, The boys of the higher grades met in room 8, Tuesday and planned the spring work in athletics, lrval Savage Sav-age has been chosen captain of all the track events. The pupils of the beginners' grade surprised their teacher, Miss "Winni-fred "Winni-fred Parry last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Fredrickson were happily surprised by the public school faculty on Thursday of last week. Mr. Williams has the charming "Spring Song," by Mendelssohn in course of preparation in the eighth grade. The song will be rendered publicly on Commencement day. Miss Irene Nielson, teacher at Ax-tell Ax-tell paid us a short visit Thursday. The Jewel class convenes in room 8 of the Washington building on next Thursday evening, March 12, at 7:30.
