As a highlight to the annual convention of the Utah State press Association in Salt Lake Utah City February college State Agricultural journalism division will present its annual community service award to the weekly adjudged the most outstanding during the year 1955. Contest entries from publish ers throughout the state are now being judged by the US AC weekly newspaper class. A second award sponsored annually by the USAC is that for the "Eiggest Boner of the Year. At the SPA convention in February, some weekly publisher will be given a special oriental prize for having pulled the biggest blunder during 1955. This award is now from Dean Carlton Culm see, head of the jounalism division, who is presently n Formosa as a guest professoi at the National univ. there. In addition to these two which USAC sponsores annually, the weekly newspaper class is judging the entries in the Best News Story contest sponsored by the Utah State Press Association. The two USAC awards will be presented at the USPA convention by prof. John Stewart of the college journalism division.
