Show happy boy last Friday. His suitcase was all packed and he was ready to leave for Salt Lake j to play in the Ute Stadium with the Milford School Band, but while the band was playing in the stadium Jay received treatment treat-ment at the Milford Hospital for blood poison in one of his fingers. Mrs. A. H. Connell and Mrs. Henry Farmer spent a few days in Salt Lake visiting friends and relatives. Father Valine returned to Milford last Thursday after a 10-day absence from the parish, during which he visited his mother, who is seriously ill, in Modesto, Calif. Father Hal-loran Hal-loran of Richfield attend to the parish in his absence. Word has been received that Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kizer are now living in Orleans, Nebr. Mr. David Tanner is "up and around" after having been confined con-fined to his bed for the past few days. Mrs. Gertrude Zink and son Dick left last Wednesday for Parker, Idaho, after spending three months with Mrs. Zink's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Smithson. In Provo last week was Mrs. Josephine Thompson, who visited vis-ited her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Davis. Mrs. Dick Thompson accompanied accompa-nied her, and visited her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Davis, at Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Gor-don Warner in Spanish Fork. A visitor in Milford last week was Abner Tanner of Provo. He was a house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Eb Tanner and Mr. and Mrs. David Tanner . Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Shingleton and Mr. Shingleton's daughter Sherie, of Salt .Lake, were in California two weeks, on vacation. vaca-tion. A visit was made to the home of Mrs. Shingleton's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Beth Shingleton. On their return home they stopped in Las Vegas to attend a dinner dance with the Junior Old Timers . Mr. and Mrs. Silas Smith of Norwalk, Calif., are spending part of their vacation with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hollis and family. Couples from Milford attending attend-ing the Junior Old Timers dinner din-ner dance in Las Vegas at the Old Timers Club room last Saturday Sat-urday evening included Earl and Eva Stonehocker, Lynn and Gladys Shingleton, Fern Tanner, Tan-ner, Cliff Burbridge and Wendell Wen-dell and Phyllis Keetch. Mrs. W. R. Edwards and daughter Gladys of Paragonah were in Milford at the home of Mrs. Edwards' son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Edwards. While here Mrs. Edwards Ed-wards visited at the homes of her sons, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Edwards and Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Edwards. A trip to Salt Lake and Provo was enjoyed by Mrs. Dora Miller and two daughters, Grace and Janice. In Salt i-aKe Mrs. Miller visited with a sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Richan Johnson, and at Provo she visited vis-ited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Angell. Eloise Force and son Gregory, of Modena, are spending two days with her friends, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Miller and family. Mrs. T. I. Williams and son Butch were in Leamington for four days last week, visiting Mr. Williams' parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Williams. Week-end visitors in Delta, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Christen Chris-ten Gronning, were Mrs. Car-lyle Car-lyle Gronning and Mrs. Vernon Gronning.
