Show Hatch Reva Lowder Augustus Twitchell, Ward and Kathleen Savage were the speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday; two songs were rendered by Wiley, Lynne ana Betty Huntington, and by Jackie Gleavc, Dianne Black and Randy Savage of Antimony. Elgen and Ruth Sawyer and Valeene Sawyer were welcomed back as members of our ward after being away for some time. Craig Barney was advanced to the office of a Priest in the Priesthood. Attending funeral services in Escalante Thursday for George El Haney were the Max Haneys, Susie Sandin, the Frank Barneys, the Orlas Riggs', Velma Huntington, May Sawyer, Julia Turek, and Beryl Sawyer. Visiting at the Max Haneys several days were the Wayne Harris family of Glendale, Mrs. Don Sabin and children of Salem. JoAnne Haney returned to Salem to visit the Sablns. The MIA Explorer boys made an overnight trip Friday to Nellis AFB in Nevada. Mrs. Grant Dalton and Pamela (who stayed at the Ned Daltons in Las Vegas) took the Dalton car with Dennis Dalton, Greg Evans, Curtis Wilson, Michael Ev ans; Russell Wilson took Dale Porter, Bobby Sawyer, Kenneth Barnhurst, Karl Wilson, and Craig Barney. The Bob Hendersons purchased and moved onto their lot north of their business the home of the Dick Harrisons. Nellie Mecham and Minerva Dutton of Tropic visited the. Oliver Huntingtons Monday. Gale, Gal and Ralph Wllcock and Alyce Henderson visited Thursday and Friday in Salt Lake. Evan'Wilcock of CSU and Ray Wilber of Calif, visited the Wilcocks over the weekend; Saturday visitors were David Bancroft and friend of Cedar City and Mrs. Lamond Davis and children of Panguitch. The H. V. and Ronald Young of Las Vegas spent a few days in town on business. Mr. and Mrs. Don L. Ipson of Salt Lake visited several days with the Laytori Barneys. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wilson of Hurricane were weekend visitors at the Jesse Wilsons. Mrs. Orson Barnhurst left Sunday to spend the week in LaVerkln with her mother, A-melia Sanders, who is ill. Word was received that George Workman is still In the Veteran's hospital, and underwent two more operations, he would appreciate hearing from friends. Diana Gale Harrison spent the weekend here with her parents, -t Lucille Huntington accompanied her daughter Mrs. Carl Farnsworth of Panguitch to Ephriam Friday to visit Stanley. Phil Burrows spent a few days home with his family. The Homer Duttons have leased the Heart O' the Parks Cafe for the summer. Marcie Dutton broke her right arm last week and went to Pan guitch hospital for treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans and son Clark, Earl and Larry Sawyer,, Ed Turek, and Eric Rarnhurst were home over.the weekend. Larry, Leora and Bobby Saw yer visited Saturday In Richfield with Mrs. Rebecca Wilton who is ill. Visitors in Cedar City were Leora Sawyer, Ora and Mer-vin Barnhurst, the Sam Evans', and the Garth Heaps. |
