Reed Veitter-Ii Veitter-Ii attended school in Salt Lake City and graduated from the East Side high school with great distinction, dis-tinction, later he obtained his law degree from George Washington Wash-ington University, Washington, D. C, having worked his way through school. He entered the service of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 1925 and remained identified with that organization for eleven years. His remarkable record during dur-ing that time created for him a position of national prominance. His political record is one of staunch Republicanism. In 1942 he led all of the Republicans in number of votes in the second Congressional District. This man is aware of the problems prob-lems that our war situation is placing before us. He stands for everything that you and straight thinking Americans believe in. Now as never before, experience such as his is needed by our law making bodies. Mr. Vetterli is the people's candidate. can-didate. There are no SDecial interests in-terests of groups who will carry special favors with him. He has a definite program for tax re-j re-j duction and will work for the benefit ben-efit of all of the State of Utah. jHe stands out signally as a man who want Utah to be the State where you would like to raise your boys and girls. Vetterli, candidate for the nomination on the Republican ticket for governor of the State of Utah was born in Salt Lake City, August 20, 1903. He is de-cendended de-cendended from Swiss-American parentage, a son of Mr. and Mrs. iJohn Vetterli, who were converts I to the L. D. S. Church over 50 years ago and have been residents of Salt Lake City since the turn of the centuy. They previously resided in Cache and Tooele counties. coun-ties.
