The Jones-Little team took the high scores when Jack Jones had a 586 series with a 24G game, and the team had 200S for series and 745 for game. Belle Feilows was high lady with 322. ! - The Neslen-Mc";regOr. ream had a 2103 high series and 761 high game last Thursday to take a 3 point lead over the Lamper-Clary team. Cauley Wilburn "did it again" with a hot 685. his games being 228, 224, and 233 The cup went to May Peterson as a low game consolation, and Wihr.a McGregor Mc-Gregor had 507 for high ladies series. On Monday night this week Bill Young rolled. 225 for high single .game and his team had high team scores, 1874 and 094. Vince Mc-Guire's Mc-Guire's 559 was high individual series, while Gladys Temple was high lady with 512. The Temple-Buckley Temple-Buckley and Knowles-Walster teams arc tied for first place with only one mere session to to play. From the almost unanimous enthusiasm shown in the summer leagues, it seems certain that a second round will be played in all of the leagues. The weather has been favorable for bowiing but when summer heat comes, it will still be cool at the Southeast. |
