The Salt Lake AI ohib opened Us now quarters hi llio Commercial club building Wednesday night with an entertainment and refreshments that combined to make the house-warming worthy of the handsome hand-some quartern which have been fitted up within the last three days. Horace Ensign En-sign and John James contributed to the entertainment with vocal solos and a violin vio-lin solo was given by George Skolton. n. J. Jlulion played the double rolo of historian his-torian and prophet and speeches from A. B. Carstensen und Ben Davis were also on tho programme. , , T. F. Thomas, chairman ol the executive execu-tive committee, spoke briefly and blushed modestly when his fellow-members gave three cheers for him. By this time the speech-making became contagious and the members forgot all about the- refreshments refresh-ments prepared by "Chef" Charles Lra-"cr. Lra-"cr. , .,. A. B. Carstensen, John Giles and 1 . r. Thomas were appointed to the membership member-ship committee and Malcom McAllister, Fav Harris and Robert Wilson were appointed ap-pointed to serve on the house committee. |
