Show County Commissioners. Board ot County Commissioners Commission-ers met Sept. 4th, 906, Messrs Valentine and Hart piesent. Action on petition 15 was deferred. de-ferred. Petition 16, Geo A. Cooket al asking for an appropriation of $300 to repair roads in Grouse Creek district, was deferred. Petition 17, Lorenzo Petersen et al asking thai road from depot lane west be graveled. B F Boothe, Lorenzo Petersen and Lars H, Larsen appeared in support. sup-port. Upon motion of Chr. Valentine Val-entine $495 was appropriated to gravel said roud. Proclamation from the Governor Gover-nor calling for an election Nov. 6th was read. Letter from O. D. Mclntire regarding re-garding the changing of ditch in Clear Creek district was read and action deferred. Communication from Jesse N. Smith was read, Resignation of Hans Keller as constable of Mantua district was presented. Communication from Mrs. Mary Andrews was read. The clerk was instructed to notify Mr. Holdaway to survey right of way leading to propored bridges, one over Bear River west of Honey ville and the other over Malad at Greens. The clerk's and recorder's reports re-ports of fees collected during Aug. 1906 and auditor's report of incidental expenses during Aug. 1906, were read and accepted. Wm. Parsons, road supervisor of Willard district, appeared and asked for an appropriation to re-1 pair damage done by havy rains on roads in his district; upon motion of Com. Hart $300 was appropriated for said purpose. Petition 18, asking that road be opened up from county road west and south to smelter being erected and giving prices, asked for land to be used for road. B Com from John Sharp, fish B and game commit-dioncr of state B allotting 30,000 fry to Box Elder B county, was read and clerk in- B strutted to notify Mr. Sharp that I they were accepted and to be delivered de-livered to Elias H. Jensen, county fish and game warden. Messrs. McLane and Rniney appeared and asked permi.ittioa to tear up the county road near depot in Brifiham and that they be permitted to let depot remain where it now is until the new depot is built. Upon motion the request was granted. The Board adjourned for tw( weeks. f |
