Show Notice . To Contractors Sealed proposals will be received re-ceived by the State Road Commission Com-mission of Utah, State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, until 2 o'clock p. m. Wednesday, March 30, 1949, and at that time publicly pub-licly opened for construction of a reinforced concrete bridge in Duchesne County, the same being that section of S R. No. 121 be-, tween Roosevelt and Neola identified iden-tified as Federal Aid Secondary Project No. S-241 (2). The length of road to be constructed con-structed or improved is 0.008 miles and the principal items of work .are approximately as follows: fol-lows: 273 Cu. Yds. Concrete, Class "A" and 52.000 Lbs. Reinforcing Re-inforcing Steel. The attention of bidders is directed di-rected to the Special Provisions covering subletting or assigning the contract The minimum wage paid to all skilled labor employed on this contract shall be $1.75 p?r h. The minimum wage paid to all intermediate labor employed on this contract shall be $1.40 per hour. The minimum wage paid lo all unskilled labor employed on this contract shall be $1,275 per hour. Tho attention of bidders is directed; di-rected; to the fact that this Commission Com-mission has been advised by the Wage and Hour Division, U. S. Department of Labor, that contractors con-tractors encased in highway const-notion work are required to meet the provisions o the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, (52 Stat. 1000). Plans and specifications are on file in the office of the State I Road Commission, Salt Lake Citv. and the office of its District Engineer at Provo. Utah where they may be reviewed by prospective pros-pective bidders. Specifications, proposal forms, and plans will be furnished at Salt Lake City, on depositing $2.00, which will be refunded; providing bidder submits an acceptable bid and returns re-turns the plans within seven days after the opening of bids. Each bidder must submit a letter from an approved surety company com-pany guaranteeing to furnish said bidder with required bond. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. Cash, certified check, cashier's check, or approved proposal guaranty bond for not less than five per cent of total amount of bid made payable to the State Road Commission must accom-panv accom-panv each bid as evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder bid-der will execute the contract and furnish contract bond as required. re-quired.
