Show Sugar House Lions Club Advocate Prison Removal At their regular meeting, held Monday night, the Sugar House Lions Club' went on record, along with all other Lions Clubs in Utah, that they intend to per-sever per-sever in their efforts to improve conditions at the Utah State Prison. Pris-on. And for its subsequent removal re-moval as soon as possible to the new site at the "Point of the Mountain." Lion President W. O. Lee, reviewed re-viewed the present deplorable conditions con-ditions at the prison as found in recent surveys and urged members mem-bers to bring pessure to bear at every opportunity, to have these undesirable conditions eliminated. As Sugar House stands to bene-fitmore bene-fitmore directly than any other section of the state of Utah by the prison removal program. Edward Haynes, keynotinf a dis cussion on post war planning by the Lions Clubs, admonishing members of their responsibility in helping to forulate a "definite plan" for peace and a post war world.
