Apparently the only charter amendment adopted was that fixing a minimum wage of $2. 75. a day for nil city employes. Lrbor union leaders are exultant Robert D. Ilesketh, president ot tho city council and vice president ot the International Cooks and Walters union, was re-elected to tho council, receiving more votes oven than Gill. Councllmnn Oliver T. ErlcRson, also Indorsed by organized labor, was reelected re-elected by a largo majority. Some It not all ot tho five labor candidates for membership on tho Freeholders committee chosen to revise the charter char-ter were elected. |
