Show Prominent Newton Nan Is Honored By Folk From His Ward t Nowton, March C. A most successful suc-cessful ward party waB held last Friday evening In honor 6f W. H. Qrlffln, Jr., retiring member of our bishopric, who for tho present Is making mak-ing his home In Logan. The house was filled with his friends which showed too clearly how tho Honored guest has won his way In tho hearts of tho peoplo Tho evening was Bpont in dancing, tho rendition ot a short spicy program, nnd tho serving of delicious light refreshments to nil. Mrs. Christina Barker and daughter daugh-ter Naomi relumed on Friday last from Salt Lake City after a stay of six weeks.
